Directions from the Valley: At the intersection of the 405 and the 101 to Castaic Lake Recreation Area: Take the 405 N to the 5N. Exit Lake Hughes Rd/Castaic Lake. Turn right at off ramp onto Lake Hughes Rd. Go to Ridge Route Rd. Turn left on Ridge Route Rd and continue to first stop sign at Castaic Lake Dr. Turn right on Castaic Lake Dr. and go park entrance approx. .5 miles on right hand side. After entering the front gate, turn left and go all the way down to the last picnic area at the end called Shady Acres and park.

Parking fee is $10. All parking fees remain at Castaic Lake for trail improvements and maintenance of facilities. Please help support our parks!
